I'm Linda, and we're currently in our newly renovated home in Newington, if you see the before, it's quite a significant transformation. So we had this family home, and we wanted to make some changes and basically create a new space where our young families decided to contact Lumiere and start the ball rolling on, kind of creating a new space for us and somewhere we could really feel comfortable.
There were two main factors on why we chose Lumiere, and it was their commitment to speed and delivering quickly, but also the quality of that work as well.
Personally, because I was interfacing with Chantal quite a lot, it just gave me a lot of comfort that she understood, you know, really, where I was coming from from, especially from a woman's perspective. Because a lot of the time, you know, it tends to be male driven. I was comfortable enough to be participating in those conversations. And again, a big reason for that is because Chantelle was our main point of contact.
Overall, a really positive experience. And like I said, we came out of it unscathed, to be honest. And that's not, that's not common, I think, in renovations. And would I recommend then, absolutely. I mean, I've already started recommending Lumiere and Chantal and her team to my friends, and because they've seen the property and they're, like, inspired by the changes. So I wouldn't be surprised if they you know, reach out and contact her as well. So, yeah, absolutely, you.

Hi, I'm Mitchell Clout. I live in Elizabeth Bay. We moved in about 18 months ago into this apartment. When we moved in, there were certainly some things that we immediately noticed that needed addressing, as far as making the space much more livable and enjoyable and being a space that you can enjoy with friends and family.
We came across Lumiere through social media, and immediately were thrilled with the way in which Chantelle and the team approached the project. For this project, we wanted to open up the kitchen that is behind me, that was originally a classic 1970s enclosed galley kitchen. So we really wanted to open it up and be a place that you could enjoy with friends and family, and be really a space for entertaining as well. We were keen to replace the flooring, throughout which we've done with the woodcut herringbone timber. We also needed to do a bit of a refresh. As far as painting lighting, we also had some custom joinery for the TV unit, as well as other work to really modernize the space, the way that the space has just been brightened up the way that the flooring really elevates the entire room and flows throughout. It's really exciting, and we're thrilled to be back in here. I found communicating with the team was always really regular, really open, and provided us with what we needed to get this project done. Chantelle was really open with providing her opinions and advice on how to approach the project, which was useful, particularly as we had pretty specific budget that we couldn't go past. We found that process to be really professional. Definitely would recommend Lumiere to others hearing the experience of many other family and friends who've gone through similar things, and hear about the problems that they have during renovation projects, and we had absolutely none of that. And so we would absolutely go back to Lumiere. Want to say big thank you to Chantelle and the whole Lumiere team. Was really great work. It was great working with you and all of your subcontractors. Really appreciate everything that they did to get the project across the line.
